We accept consignment by appointment only. Our appointment calendar updates in real time and reflects the most current availability.

Please take a moment to read through our process and policies in preparation for your drop-off. You can schedule your appointment below.

  • We accept women’s, men’s, and unisex clothing, activewear, shoes, and accessories, including:

    • Belts

    • Bags

    • Scarves

    • Jewelry

    We look for women’s, men’s, and unisex clothing, activewear, shoes, and accessories in excellent condition. 

    We are especially interested in items from modern sustainable brands that have been purchased within the last few years. 

    Some examples of our favorite brands include: Rudy Jude, 7115 by Szeki, Alex Mill, Ali Golden, Arc’teryx, B Sides Jeans, Babaa, Baserange, Big Bud Press, Buck Mason, Carhartt, Caron Callahan, Cordera, Corridor, Curator SF, Deiji Studios, Doen, Donni, Filson, Gramicci, Ilana Kohn, Imogen + Willie, Issey Miyake, Jesse Kamm, Jungmaven, Kaarem, Kapital, Lauren Manoogian, Mara Hoffman, Micaela Greg, Older Brother, Online Ceramics, orSlow, Paloma Wool, Rachel Comey, Reformation, Salomon, Shaina Mote, Universal Works, Uzi, YMC, and more.

    We also accept vintage pieces from the 1970s onward that are on-trend and in good condition.

  • We do not accept:

    • Housewares

    • Undergarments

    • Cosmetics or perfume

    • Fast fashion brands such as H&M, Zara, Princess Polly, Nasty Gal, Topshop, Target, Old Navy, and Gap

  • All items must be:

    • Freshly laundered

    • Free of stains, pet hair, rips, tears, strong odors, or other damage

    Please bring items folded in paper bags or reusable tote bags. Ikea bags are also a great option!

    We cannot accept items brought on hangers or in suitcases, cardboard boxes, or plastic bins.

    Some wear may be acceptable for vintage pieces and is evaluated case by case.

  • We buy items seasonally, so we typically pass on heavy coats in July or swimwear in December.

    Our buying seasons generally follow this schedule:

    • Fall: August–October

    • Winter: November–January

    • Spring: February–April

    • Summer: May–July

    If you bring something out of season that we’d like to see later, we’ll include a note with your go-backs.

    If you’re booking an appointment in advance and aren’t sure what season we’ll be buying for, feel free to email us to check.

  • Most items are priced between ¼ and ½ of the original retail price, though some pieces may be priced closer to retail.

    Pricing depends on several factors:

    Original retail price
    Higher retail items generally price higher on consignment.

    Condition
    New items with tags or pieces still selling online may be priced higher than items showing wear.

    Desirability
    Highly sought-after brands or especially current styles may command higher resale prices.

    If you have additional information about an item—especially jewelry, designer pieces, overseas brands, or items with removed tags—please feel free to share it at drop-off. While helpful, this isn’t required; we research every item we consign.

    If you’re unhappy with the price of an item, let us know. If we feel a higher price is realistic, we’re happy to adjust it. Otherwise, we’ll return the item to you.

  • After you drop off your items, they enter our processing queue.

    Sorting, researching, and pricing typically takes 5–7 days, though during busy seasons it may take 8–10 days.

    Once processing is complete, we’ll email you:

    • A PDF listing the items we accepted and their prices

    • A pick-up deadline (5 business days) for any items we did not accept

    Please note that we do not send lists of items we pass on. If none of your items are accepted, we will still email you with a pick-up deadline.

    If we pass on items, you’ll have 5 business days from the time of our email to pick them up.

    Because storage space is limited, we cannot guarantee extensions. If you’re unable to make your deadline, please contact us—we may be able to hold items briefly, but this is not guaranteed.

    A friend or family member can pick up items for you; they’ll just need your name.

  • Items remain on the sales floor for 60 days.

    When an item sells, you receive:

    • 50% of the sale price as store credit, or

    • 40% of the sale price as a payout (check or direct deposit)

    Payouts are issued upon request, and store credit never expires.

    If all of your items sell within the consignment period, you will not receive an expiration email.

  • Once your items are entered into our inventory system, you’ll receive an invitation to our online consignor portal.

    In the portal you can:

    • View your items and their prices

    • Track when items sell

    • Check your available balance

    • Sign up for direct deposit

    • See when items will expire

    We’ll also email you when your consignment period ends, so you don’t need to track expiration dates yourself.

  • Your earnings are added to your consignor balance when items sell.

    You can use or collect your credit in three ways:

    Shop In-Store

    Use your credit toward purchases in the shop at any time.

    Direct Deposit

    To receive payment via direct deposit:

    1. Log in to your consignor portal

    2. Click the “SimpleACH” icon in the left-hand menu

    3. Follow the prompts to link your bank account

    Once your account is linked, email creatureconsign@gmail.com to request payment.

    Deposits are initiated within 1–2 days of your request and typically arrive within 2–4 business days.

    A $2.50 processing fee applies.

    Check

    You may also request payment by check.

    In-store pickup
    Stop by between 10am–4pm and a manager can sign a check for you. To guarantee it’s ready when you arrive, please request it 1–2 days in advance.

    Mailed check
    You may also request that a check be mailed to you.
    A $2.50 mailing fee will be deducted from your balance.

    You’re welcome to use part of your credit in-store and cash out the rest.
